Department of English Language and Literature welcomed its first students in 2012. Our curriculum includes courses on English and American literatures and cultures and teaching English as a foreign language.

The medium of instruction in our programs is English. A year of preparatory class is mandatory for those who fail the proficieny exam held by the School of Foreign Lanuages.

Our department offers BA, MA, and PhD programs. Around nine hundred students are enrolled in our programs. We are an active participant of the Erasmus Program. Our partnering instutions are as follows:
